If you’re new to us, we’re Plymouth’s cheeky little hub for game lovers, pizza lovers, and craft beer sippers alike. Open day and night, we’re perfect for some Pictionary and pizza in the day, as well as a suitable little spot for an evening adventure. Because yes, cocktails and Catan absolutely do go together…
BEST CAFE IN PLYMOUTH
Sure, we’re known for our unreasonably large board game library, but let’s not overlook one of the most underrated parts of a game night at Twist: the food. Because what’s better than laughing your way through a round of Coup with your favourite people AND a pizza?
Our menu is filled with stone baked pizzas with golden crusts, stacked burgers with loaded toppings, dirty fries you’ll 100% need napkins for, and warm cookie dough that is the perfect sharer. We’ve even got crunchy nachos, halloumi fries, and cauliflower bites for the snackers amongst us who just love to nibble on something as they play.
Whether you’re rolling the dice, flipping cards, or cheering on your team, we firmly believe that snacks are the winning strategy that unites everyone around the table!
TASTY FOOD IN PLYMOUTH
At Twist, we take game night fuel very seriously. Because let’s be real, being well fed is all part of the experience. Let’s start with the burgers. From the Cheeseburger to the Buffalo Chicken Burger, and even our deliciously meat-free Pulled Mushroom, we’ve got the kind of stacked, saucy beauties that need two hands to get through. As for our loaded fries, these are the kind of dishes that deserve their own Instagram post and the kind of food you simply won’t want to share. With choices like our delicious Cheesy Fries, Pulled Pork, Hoisin Cauli Fries, and delicious ol’ regular fries, we have something for everyone.
Of course, if pizza’s more your vibe, we’ve got stone baked classics like Margherita, Pepperoni, and the Veggie Hot. Pair all of that with our range of delicious dips and a refreshing indie beer, and you’ve got a winning streak on the way.
AN EXTENSIVE DRINKS LIST
Now, let’s talk drinks, because whether you’re toasting a big birthday, clinking glasses after a well-played quiz, or just trying to keep your cool in a tense game of Risk, it’s important to have the right potion for every kind of player.
From our cocktail list, you can expect sweet, sour, fruity, boozy, and everything in between. We shake up proper concoctions that are as bold as our board game collection. From twisted classics like the Pornstar Martini to quirky signatures you won’t find anywhere else like our Apple Crumble, we’ve got flavours for everyone around the board. For the beer lovers amongst us, we’re incredibly proud to stock local indie brews only, because Plymouth deserves better than basic. If you’re into crisp lagers, juicy pale ales or something a little experimental, we’ve got a cold one with your name on it.
If you’re playing it cool, our milkshakes are thick, creamy, and nostalgic in the best way. Perfect for the big kid in all of us. And if you’re on the go or keeping it lowkey, our range of teas and coffees will have you caffeinated and ready to roll the dice.
CENTRALLY LOCATED
You’ll find Twist right in the heart of Plymouth, perfectly placed for spontaneous game nights, perfectly planned parties, or quick pit stops that accidentally turn into three-hour Uno marathons and burgers.
We’re just a short walk from Drake Circus, tucked between the city’s shops, bars, and buzzing streets. That makes us wonderfully convenient if you’re out shopping, meeting mates after work, or heading into town for the evening. We’re also well connected by public transport, should you wish to join us without your own wheels. Plymouth Train Station is just a 10-15 minute walk away, and there are loads of bus routes that drop you off nearby. Plus, if you’re visiting the Barbican, The Hoe, or planning a day exploring Plymouth’s sights, we’re a welcome spot to start or end your day out!
